Colchester Sight Centre

Essex Sight’s weekly sight centre in Colchester is returning to Colchester library. Our friendly staff and volunteers will be on hand to offer information and advice about sight loss, eye conditions, benefits, audio books, registration and lots more. Come and try out some low vision aids, or just have a chat with us.

On Foot

Lion Walk Church is in the centre of the town in Lion Walk Precinct.  Entrance is opposite Boots Chemist.

Public Transport

From bus station, cross the road to Vineyard Car Park and take the lift or stairs to Eld Lane.  Walk straight ahead from the lift and Lion walk church is on the right opposite Boots the chemist.

From High Street (appx. 2 min) cross the road and walk along Lion Walk.  Keep going straight and the church entrance is on the left next to .

From Head Street (appx 6 min) cross the road and walk along Sir Issacs Walk.  Turn left into Lion Walk precinct (by Timpsons) and church entrance in on right next to River Island.

By Car

The nearest car park is Vineyard Street  (CO1 1LS).  Go up the stairs/lift at the left side of the car park and Lion Walk church is on the right opposite Boots the Chemist.
