Community Sight Centres
Our Community Sight Centres are welcoming, accessible spaces located across Essex. They provide local support for people who are blind or visually impaired, as well as their families and carers.
At our sight centres, you can expect:

Practical advice and guidance, including demonstrations of daily living and visual aids

Help with reading mail and completing forms, plus signposting to local services and resources

Peer support and social opportunities, including informal meet-ups and talks from healthcare professionals
Our centres are located in communities such as Colchester, Chelmsford, Maldon, Halstead, Clacton, Walton-on-the-Naze, and Brentwood, making support easier to access closer to home.
